QEG Breakthrough in China

This week we here at QEG Academy would like to extend a special thank you to QEG builder Xingdou from China. We first noticed his QEG replication videos on Youtube back in the summer of 2015, and he has been showing steady progress ever since. His YouTube channel is ‘Shadow Steven’, and we highly recommend you have a look to see what a QEG replication and development lab looks like.

He has lasermachined his own QEG steel core and bi-toroid transformer, and directly drives the QEG rotor inline with a brushless DC motor.  In the past week he has shared on Facebook some exciting news with approaching the unity with his generator configuration. He has been following James’ recent updates on how to precondition the core and get the generator to resonate at a particular frequency with a lower rotor rpm. He now reports excess voltage generated on the primary windings. His bench setup includes an extra set of  feedback secondary coils that are connected to the primary windings. He’s also using a high voltage 500 watt 1500 ohm rheostat to control the voltage and to act as a variable resistive load on the primary, while the secondary line powers the bi-toroid transformer to maintain a 200 watt load of incandescent bulbs. Please see the image below:

A copy of his transcript and higher resolution of his schematic will be made available in the members’ area of the QEG Academy website. The English translation is a little broken, however should provide enough detail.

Xingdou is currently improving the capacitor bank storage capability and developing a high voltage inverter circuit to convert the pulse DC to 50 cycles AC.

The direction to achieving overunity will require the need to convert the energy from the higher frequecy of the QEG LC tank down to house mains frequency (50 / 60 cycles), voltage, and current. This is usually achieved by first converting to DC (DC LINK), then back to AC via an inverter stage. Xingdou’s solution appears to be an IGBT inverter driven by a high voltage astable multivibrator. We continue to be in contact with Xingdou and look forward to greater surprises from him in 2017. Xingdou, we salute you!

Finally, after a lot development the TeslaGen is now being assembled with the newly designed and wound bobbins. A big thanks to the bobbin manufacturer and copper winding team that has made this acheivement possible. We are very pleased with this robust solution! The bobbins will soon be test fitted to the stator sections before assembly.

There are some additional accessesories that we are also wanting to have built for this new compact miniQEG. The updated CAD files for this generator will soon be made available do download from the QEG Academy website. 2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for clean energy!

Best wishes,
QEG Academy
