Karen Elkins (Science To Sage Magazine) is brilliant at asking the most meaningful questions of free energy experts, which is particularly helpful if you are not an engineer or a scientist. Paul calls himself a scientific, religious, institutional heretic, lol.

Free energy is the driving force in Paul’s life, and he comes to the conference every year because for him, they are very enlightening and powerful, and what he gives in knowledge, he gets back in knowledge. Paul additionally says “all the good people with a heart and soul come here.”  That’s what keeps me in this business too – to keep same company as all the good people with a heart and a soul!

Paul has developed a theory model over many decades that explains the free energy devices. He states it’s all the same basic science and he is able to bring it together and clarify what processes are being used in any particular free energy device.  He says, “all the machines can be explained within the laws of physics.”

While holed up in Alaska, Paul heard a Joseph Newman interview, and bought the book, whose contents altered his world – a huge aha moment!  Paul describes the anomalies he’s seen as a technician and engineer, especially when he was working with heavy DC systems. He describes one such system that can evaporate steel beams.  Joseph Newman’s observations helped him understand why and how this could happen.

Paul describes devices that if he winds the coil a certain way, he can extract more energy out of it than was put in, within all the known laws of physics. However, he does admit that when on the verge of perception, there are some things we can’t detect with our 5 senses. He explains this is why scientists have a hard time measuring this (and other) technologies – because they don’t have instruments that measure outside the accepted (but limited) norm; our known 5 senses.

Progress and disruption go hand in hand. The history of human civilization is characterized by periodic dances between old technologies resisting newer ones, with the latter ultimately ending up victorious — before inevitably becoming old and ripe for disruption once more. The horse and buggy made way for the gasoline-powered automobile, which is bound to be replaced by electric vehicles; the radio quickly lost ground to the television, which — along with print press and virtually every other form of traditional media — became disrupted by the internet.

What about the next wave of disruptions? Richard Watson, a leading futurist and lecturer at the London Business School, recently compiled some of the most promising technologies that seem set on shaking different industries from the ground up.

Watson teamed up with colleagues from Tech Foresight at Imperial College London, as well as an ex-BBC researcher to help list companies that are leading the way for each disrupting tech. Be it retail, finance, food, transport, computing, energy, or health, no industry seems to be spared by the waves of innovation.

“The idea for the table initially came from me stumbling upon a list of emerging technologies on Wikipedia. This felt fairly accurate, but also rather lifeless. It wasn’t especially contextual either. Other lists from MIT Tech Review and McKinsey were better, but somehow these weren’t showing the bigger picture either,” Watson wrote.

“Using all this as a good starting point I did some further research to identify candidate technologies and then spoke with Anna and academics at Imperial College to validate the thinking. This was the easy bit.”

“The tricky part was then deciding which technologies to leave out and how to rank both the disruptive potential of each technology and time (both near impossible, but we had a good go using small post-it notes that could be moved around easily). What results is far from perfect, but it’s better than anything else I’ve seen and it’s hopefully a foundation for people being wrong in really useful and interesting ways.”

Some disruptions are happening right now, while others are still incubating, waiting for the right moment to hatch. Watson highlighted the fact by dividing the nearly 100 technologies he listed into four groups. Colored in green are horizon 1 disruption — those that are happening right now, and which companies should waste no time jumping on board with. Yellow, or horizon two, are probable near-future technologies (10-20 years from now), which companies are advised to experiment with. Red, or horizon three, are technologies thought to emerge in the more distant future (20 years plus); companies should keep a close eye on their developments. Finally, the outer edge, colored in grey, are the so-called Ghost Technologies, fringe territory where you’ll find technologies that are highly improbable or downright impossible to mature with our current level of understanding.

Some items are super obvious and predictable, such as autonomous vehicles and smart energy grids, while other disruptions are extraordinarily outlandish or downright ludicrous — human head-transplants, telepathy, and artificial consciousness.

On the X-axis are technologies ranked by their potential for disruption in time, while the Y-axis ranks the probability of disruption from low to high. In this case, time relates to common usage, not initial invention.

So the next time you get your groceries delivered by an Amazon drone, don’t act too surprised. Revisit this table and prepare for the next big thing.

Resources for the DIY alternative engineer

The reciprocating rod is replaced by a rotor whose motion is also electrically regulated, by means of tuned parametric resonance (parametric oscillation). The original intent of the patent (electrical regulation of the period (frequency) of a repetitive mechanical motion) is further expanded through subsequent utilization and application of mechanical self‐resonance and radiant energy, in order to make the machine self‐sustaining.

The QEG prototype is scaled to produce electrical power in the range of 10‐15 kW (kilowatts) continuously, with no conventional fuel or input whatsoever, and can be set up to provide either 120 Volt or 230‐240 Volt, 50‐60Hz single phase AC output. We are also planning future designs to provide 3‐phase power.

Service life of the device is limited only by certain replaceable components, such as bearings, v‐belts, and capacitors. The basic machine should operate trouble‐free (with minimal maintenance) for as long as any good quality electro‐mechanical appliance, such as a quality washing machine or refrigerator. Heavy‐duty mechanical components are used throughout for reliability.

The QEG is not a complicated device, as it is designed (like Tesla’s other ‘discoveries’) to work in harmony with nature’s laws, rather than the power wasting closed‐system symmetric motor and generator designs used in today’s mainstream industry.

An effective way to understand the operating principle of the QEG is to think of it as a self‐powered toroidal transformer with high‐voltage primary, and low voltage secondary. The primary high voltage is self‐generated through mechanically pumped parametric resonance. The resonance occurs as a function of the spinning rotor modulating the reluctance/inductance in the primary tank circuit windings. This modulation initiates an oscillation which can develop up to 20,000 volts (20kV) or more in amplitude, with frequency determined by the tank capacitor value and inductance value in the primary windings. Power is then transferred to the secondary windings during the intervals where the rotor is between pole pieces (unaligned). In today’s alternative energy terminology, it would be called a type of resonance machine.

The circuitry that develops high power in this device is based on an existing but under‐utilized power oscillator configuration, with performance enhanced by driving the core steel into resonance. The ‘quantum’ part of the design utilizes the insertion of radiant energy into the generator core to support additional power output. The resultant power output is a combination of radiant and conventional electricity which, depending on tuning, can drive standard loads equivalent to a conventional 10 to 15kW generator (300‐350 Volts, at up 30 Amps or more).

Due to the Lenz effect, conventional alternators (AC generators) consume much more input power than the output power they provide. For example, one brand of power take off (PTO) alternator uses 18,000 watts (24 horsepower) to develop 13,000 watts of output power. In the QEG, input power is used only to maintain resonance in the core, which uses a fraction of the output power (under 1000 watts to produce 10,000 watts), and once development is completed, the QEG will provide this power to its own 1 horsepower motor. This is known as over‐unity, or COP over 1 (Coefficient of Performance). Once the machine is up and running at the resonant frequency, it will power itself (self‐sustaining).
